Hi All, we're heading off to
Millstream NP east of
Karratha these hols and would like to know if campfires are allowed. I've read in the dec pamphlet No but that was published in 2008 (on the net today) so sometimes they say that then you get there and there are pit fireplaces. Recent info would be
well received and thanks in advance.

No
camp fires are allowed at
Millstream...there are no pit fire
places...we were there a bit over 2 months ago , and enjoyed it. Get there early...before midday and you can usually take your pick of the sites..at the
main camp ground at the
homestead the sites are arranged in a circle around the
toilets and
camp kitchen....cleanest
camp kitchen in Australia and with hot and cold
water ,and the drop
toilets are similar in cleanliness....the road in can be a bit rough and was when we were there , but just drive to the prevailing conditions. 2 or 3 days and you will see it all...very interesting at the
homestead , cheers
