Hi All,
Does anyone know if the
camping sites at Cranebrake pool are accessible for camper trailers, as I know some of the
camping sites down that way are tents only! have checked through several
camping books & web sites etc, but no info as to whether camper trailers are OK to use there.
Any info will be greatly appreciated.
Cheers
Howard

Hi Howard,
You can easily get a camper trailer into the
Canebrake Pool spots. While some spots are bigger than others, most will easily take a camper trailer. Here is a shot from Australia Day in 2007

Hello Howard,
We had a great time there last October and, as said before, sites are suitable for camper trailers. The
water is COOL but if you are game, take the plunge.Image Could Not Be Found

Hi N1, are there fire-rings on the sites. I assume it's DEC operated??
Some DEC sites in the sothwest do and some don't.
Cheers.

Thanks to all who replied - I did forget about the very low ambients down south ! and I have just returned from the middle of a wet season in West Africa, so quite used to the heat and humidity, I will make sure to pack plenty of warm cloths. As far as taking a dip goes - won't be me but my
young bloke might. Got to be over 45 deg before I will take the plunge...
Thanks again, cheers
Howard.

Yes John,
Canebrake Pool is operated by DEC.
There are fire rings (look closely at picture 1) and wood is supplied.

Thanks N1 - looks good; I'll certainly be filing this option in the book.
Cheers.
