hi mogul
sorry to hear of this your loss but owners in some cases are also allowing the opportunist to do these acts did yours have a hitch lock on it or was it left like the one i will relate too
just to quote an instant
last week while in a
perth suburb visiting my chiropractor
i went for a walk after treatment and noticed a camper trailer with no hitch lock and the hitch was 1.5 meters from road verge edge on a flat surface facing the rd
just waiting for someone of the above inclination to quickly pull up and roll the ready to go c/trailer out onto the road and drop it onto the towball and away with it
two days and nights later it was still there so i went and knocked on the door after some chiro treatment and a blonde woman answered
i warned her about trailer thefts and that it is a reality and is happening she was a bit taken back thanked me
and said she will tell her husband to shift it
i said
well at least put a hitch lock on it
you guessed it
it was still sitting in the same spot next after noon when i went by still without a h/lock
you can try to help some people out of kindness and respect
but it's usually a waste of time
hope you get yours back as they are not a cheap item any more
and its the inconvience and mess up of travel plans
these low life sneak around with the humans on this planet
and yes i'm aware that they can still get stollen even when locked up
cheers

What is it with stealing trailers and their bits.
Some A hole decided that they needed my jockey wheel winding handle more than I did.
Sneaky mongrels turned up complete with a set of Allen Keys to undo the grub screw!

Hi Mogul
I may be a bit far north, but the wife and I have family in
Broome,
Derby,
Fitzroy Crossing,
Kununurra and
Wyndham, so we have given the Rego number to family members and the description. We see or hear anything we will let you know.
Cheers

Hi Mogul,
I sympasise with you we had our camper trailer stolen 2 weeks ago, however we were building ours and had put it in the carport to finish it ready for rego, so no id markers, so no hope of getting it back.
I hope that you get it back soon.
Cheers,
Pat
