Google

Jayco Expanda vans

Windsor Rapid vans

Both lots make excellent family vans.
I used to have a handle on life, but it broke.

Cheers Dodg.

This isn't an easy question to answer, as we don't know how much you wish to spend, weather you want on road or off road.

There are vans about that have a double bed one end and three bunk beds the other, then there are the ones where double beds come out each end, it basically gets down to a personal choice and finance.

First van didn't have S/T, but now of the age where can squat down but can't get up, so yes us S/T all the time, just have to be aware of water usage when showering.
Free camping only way to go.
For $50k you should be able to pick up a good van.

With little children, you'll need the toilet!

Hi Damien,

Take a look at the Northstar Sofala or the Coromal Family series.

How many days a year would you be using the van? Do the sums - it may or may not be the most cost effective way to travel, even with a family of 5.

hi damien, have the same problem as you 3 kids under 5. we have a triple bunk off roader coramol and lovin it, after doing our homework this brand was the best for the kids and with heaps of room to grow verus other triple bunked caravans. price is an issue...... you can keep placing extras on and the $$ build, but as a base , i wouldn't change. hope this helps. quincy

Hi we have 2 boys 6 & 9 and bought a Windsor Rapid with bunks and it is excellent. Well made van. I believe that Windsor and Coromal are owned by the same company.

Hi guys

We have a 2008 Jayco Sterling 24.75 ft van we are currently travelling around Australia for a year or two. It has triple bunks, seperate shower and toilet, concertina doors between the parents bedroom, the kids bedroom and the bathroom/laundry. We love it as do the kids. Each bunk has its own reading light, plug in and window. It basically is a house on wheels.

Hope that helps or let me know if you have anymore questions.

Chell
