Tooloom Falls NSW - is there actually a camping fee or is it a scam?
I was there a few weeks ago when a individual arrived in a red vn, barely dressed and started extorting a "camping fee" out of the campers...
He made threats of violence to Ray and Ann who bravely stood thier ground and the whole matter was later reported to police at Urbanville...
does anyone know if there is actually a fee payable for staying at Tooloom falls??

hi all, thanks for the replys...
daz - he showed me a Land Tittles act from 1895ish
and yep Dez he was having a go but apparently... the local mechanic at urbenville was beat up by five of a mob and there was an attempt to burn down the Urbanv' hotel a few months earlier... so the threats where taken somewhat seriously...
the funny thing was he pulled in close to me at first, probably because i was the most vunerable being not a large person and travelling alone but when he saw my bluey parked he about faced and started on the other campers, there is some benefits travelling with a dog...
Tez, he did get around to visiting me but i was last.... Because of the dog he asked if it was ok to approach. In the future my reply will be the dog is fine along as she can see a reciept book and parks emblem...lol...
Yes Barb, it is a beautifull place to stay...but unfortunatly i dont have a pure scotish surname .. and aparently, after my dad has died, it has been revealed there is some dutch in me as
well...
the pity of it all is both my parents are white but i am also one of "the stolen generation" and also one "the forgotten generation". I have a lot empathy for the indigenous plights but i have no respect for individuals that approach me high on petrol or crome...
PS everyone......... there is a new
camp ground over the falls and down the side of the forestry where one can stay for up to 30 days...
