Our 2002 Challenger LS tailgate garnish (MI-5817A092) has perished and cracked in the sun. It has been suggested that a new one is needed for roadworthy but the price I have been quoted from the Miitsiibushi is $672. Seems a bit steep for a plastic strip. This seem seems a bit steep, however without it the vehicle will be unroadworthy..
Anyone suggest where I can get a less expensive non-genuine replacement?

Have you tried the local wreckers, most odf them are linked to some others in the country. i.e. where i work we are linked to 46 other dismantlers around OZ...
so lre you are and i can tell you where one is close.
also if you give me make and model i might be able to find you it. No promises no guarantees!!!
Also too depending on what garnish it is!!!!

mate had a look on the computer at work today. your looking around 300 plus or minus, for a secondhand garnish.
there is guys in
sydney that have them and
perth, and a couple other
places.
but please get me the details asap. i can let you know how muchapprox and if there is one.
