Maybe the Toowoomba ones but Main Roads and Police are patrolling the roads pretty heavily at the moment.

Hi Mark.
Just spent a week at Cangai.

I'm glad we left last week as the Mann was ready to cover the bridges back then.

Cheers.

Mark,
I just about thought I had seen it all with the Rocky, Emerald, Condamine, Chinchilla, St George and a towns in between.

Ballina and northern NSW copping a flogging and now Toowoomba and the Lockyer valley getting belted.

To all those caught up in this I can't even imagine what these people feel in the way of hopelessness. The ones normally affected the most are those who normally can't afford any loss and have very little hope of recovering.

Bloody scary. I'm in the new Isle of Cambooya. When the rain started we were in town (Toowoomba). We did our business then headed home. I layed on the lounge and thought a nanny nap would be good. Never ever have I experienced that noise, two inches in half an hour. Little did I know what was unfolding out side. rain stopped and thought a drive to our creek crossing might be good to have a look. Far out we got up on our road and thanks to that annoying train line our house was spared. Friends of our had their houses washed away, cant get in contact with others. Its a chilling feeling. Still raining and rumbling coming from somewhere. I'm preying for my friend's and others down the range.

Chinchilla is officially going under again :(

Water is already 1.0m over the bridge with at least 1.5m to come.

Early reports indicate that this flood will be 0.5m higher than the last one, which will make it the biggest in history for Chinchilla.

The Warrego Highway is Closed once again in Chinchilla.

It looks like it is gunna be a loooooooooooooooooong day

Cheers Kev
