I am hoping to find someone living in or near Paramatta to do me a HUGE favour.
I live in WA and am looking at buying a food van currently based in Paramatta NSW.
It is a big expense to spend without viewing but am hoping some KIND person will have a look at it on my behalf. Please contact me if you can help or have any other suggestions.

If you are a member of a motoring club like RAC or WA equiv you could perhaps arrange an inspection through them.

I wouldnt like to be responsible for doing this and missing something to your detriment.
I think its a big responsibility as to what you think is good and someone you dont know and what they think is.

Hope you work it out.

My mate works for a company who do vehicle inspections, I think they charge around $250/$300 to inspect the vehicle, if you go down this path then let me know and when you ask to get it inspected ask for his name, better off to send me your email address and I can send the details this way. Asking some one to inspect some thing for you can be a huge thing. After searching for my latest prado my immaculate condittion compared to other peoples immaculate is amazing both private and car yards. I had car yards hear in Sydney tell me yeah mate like new, I went to inspect them and felt like thumping them for wasting my time driving all around bloody Sydney to look at crap, torn carpets, gear knobs chewed by dogs (I kid you not), torn seats etc and this is there excellent condition, my immaculate is like nearly/show room condition. My mate will do a full report and check it from top to bottom and wont be any crap and will give his honest opinion to you over the phone plus a written report. He has been banned from some yards as they have complained to his boss he is over the top, but as he told the boss, people are paying for a check, Im not there to keep caryards happy and if they dont like it stiff shi#, dont sell crap. If its dripping oil he will write it down not put down posssible seeping like they ask him to, if its been smashed he will pick it, if its a sh#t box he will write it down. I know its extremely hard when your on the other side of the country, I flew to Melbourne to check out a cruiser, pics on the net looked great, even after talking to the bloke for hours over a 2 week period to check certain things out, more pics etc everything he said sounded great, flew over there with cash in pocket with my mate who does the inspections, what a bucket, luckily my mate knows heaps about cruisers (worked for Toyota for 18 years) and picked things with the engine that was about to go bang, let alone the crazed paint, clear coat peeling the list went on, even after asking him about the clear coat he still lied, he thought I was there with the $$ I will take it, back on the plane we went and come home. Let me know if he will be of any help to you. Regards Steve
