Hi all, Have checked for 'eco toure'r in previous threads and none found.Wondering if any one has had any experience they care to share? We have goldstream on road camper but wondering if we should consider upgrading. The main consideration is the time it takes to set up and pack up the goldstream camper for short stays of which I am sure there will be quite a few. We are newbies and only had a single ten night stay in the camper-just to break it and ourselves in...We are planning a six month up the centre, time in the top and then down the east coast tour. Any info based on experience /observations/ round the campfire chats most welcome.

We have the 'off highway' Ecotourer. It only takes a few minutes to 'erect' and then no longer than any other van to do the other bits such as hoses, power etc.
We have been on quite a few dirt roads which it handles
well. I know of one couple who took theirs on the
Gibb River Road. See this Yahoo groups site

G'day Nicki, I tow with a Kia Sorento. The Ecotourer off highway with shower/
toilet is about 2100 kg loaded with ball weight of about 200 kg.

Hi Nicki ; you should have good trip up through the centre so many things to see in the NT etc
As far as you camper goes the more time you put it up the faster it becomes .
the eco tourer looks like a good van to tour in , good luck with your trip .

We have an Eco Tourer now. Upgraded from a Jayco Dove. No more wet canvas ends. It takes about one minute to raise and secure front window. After that you have to connect power, hoses wind down stands as per any other van. Tows
well and is very stable.
