Good'ay all. Have inherited one of these UHF radios (my first ) but have drawn a blank on getting any user guidance. Can anyone out there help me with a manual? Happy to pay for photo copies and post etc. Thanks

Hi I have the same problem and actually posted on this forum about 2 weeks ago. I have had no luck as yet. Hoping you get a reply that might help both of us. There seems to be a lot of FM650SD radios around but no instructions.

Gday Notant,
I think your FM 650 is very similar to the FM620 of which I am more familiar, but with a couple of extra features, it's been a long time but I used to fix them.
If you can email me a photo fo the front panel I'm sure I can make up a rough user manual for you, and a photo of the mic as well if it has any extra switches on it, most of it is to do with selective calling options which are probably not fitted anyway.
I may even have a manual 'filed' away somewhere.
The scanning options can be a bit baffling but with the 620 instructions we can most likely work it out, they are not too different.
