Sir Kev & Darkie
I may be travelling from
Eidsvold to
Theodore later this week for work and am chasing the current road conditions for this section.
As I will be in the work car (Aurion) does anyone know how
well this section of road held up during the recent floods, as there is some 14km of gravel still remaining.
Cheers Kev

G'day Kev, if you ring the
Cracow pub they could probably give you a very recent update on that road if that's the way you are going, interesting dirt road. hoo roo

Geez Kev
Don't tell me you are worried about the Aurion, maybe the Council will replace it with a 4wd if you bring it back in several pieces lol lol.
Cheers

Daza,
I just don't wanna get stuck again LOL
I have an inspection to do about 20km north of
Eidsvold then one in Wandoan so cutting across that way is the shortest way :)

Don't worry about the k's just rack em up and a new vehicle will be that much closer. Although it doesn't seem to work here, I have 171k on the hilux with no replacement in sight.

Dave,
My problem is that it is on Friday and I don't wanna miss Happy Hour LOL
I think a new Sump Pan (the third one) will be needed very soon.
Cheers Kev

Went over this road on the weekend of 12-13 Feb in the Prado towing a trailer filled with whitegoods for my son. You should have no problems in the Aurion, just take it easy on the dirt road. There was a little water around in some creek crosiings, but no problem to any vehicle.
Worst parts of the road are the bitumens parts near
Theodore, where the road is a bit bumpy.

Thanks Wombat,
Lumpy sealed roads are the norm around here after the floods as
well.
