Barrington tops - Where to camp over easter???

Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has any recommendations for places to go camping in the Barrington Tops over the easter break?

There is a group of us, might be anywhere from 4 – 12 of us (all responsible and not a group of yobbo's) and we are hoping we can go somewhere a bit "secluded". A river would be good, so we can go fishing/swimming if its warm but other than that amenities are not a priority as we can take our own toilet etc. Just keeping stuff cold (namely beer and wine) for 5 days might be a bit of a challenge without access to power or shed loads of ice.

Any suggestions would be great of where to head to.

Cheers, Pok

At that time of the year it will be to cold to swim up their. Also my evercool esky will keep ice for 10 days at that time of the year also. Expect nights to be down to zero.
Cheers Pete

what is the access to "Little Murray camping area" like? do you really need a 4wd? or just take it slow.

Have a look at "Poley's Place"HERE

Great property, acres of room, can camp right on the Barrington River, making trips into the Mountains easily accessible.
