It hasn't taken long for EO to put the rubbish bag on the market. I have ordered one and will put it to the test in a couple of weeks so I will let you know how it goes.Cheers Mick. Ps I have a Michelles' sacs rubbish bag still in the box if anyone wants it, will swap for a carton.

Having used a couple of spare wheel mounted rubbish bags I have found shortcomings and had my present one manufactured to specification.
Apart from the obvious adequate size, strength, and attachment I found the following important:

1. Fabric needs to be PVC coated canvas to avoid absorption of spilled liquids. Canvas or synthetic can get real messy after time.

2. Floor needs drain holes as liquids can escape from disposable plastic bags.Mine has a heavy-duty mesh floor. Any drain holes must have fly mesh cover.

3. Flap closure needs to be absolutely fly-proof or you will have maggots in no time. Velcro closures often leave gaps at the flap ends.Mine has zipper closure which is totally fly-proof.

4. It is useful to have a pocket incorporated for a supply of disposable plastic bags.

Had mine for a couple of years without problems. Don't know construction details of the EO bag (other than being PVC fabric) but I hope its a good one.

Cheers

OK, pics as requested...... found it a damn hard thing to clearly photograph!
Could not show it mounted on the Troopy as she is away getting new springs. Last trip on Len Beadell's roads broke a couple of leaves!

Anyway............ photo 1 General view:

The 3 eyelets in the mesh were an error by the canvas worker. They were filled with silicon to block flies. The stains are good Aussie dirt. Brown or red may have been a better canvas colour.... but it DOES show where we have been. LOL
Dimensions: h=550mm, w=500, d=200. This is large enough to accommodate the rubbish bucket as well as cans, bottles and filled bags.

Cheers

Well I've jumped in a day too early.

The day before I ordered one of Klaus's InFront rubbish bags.
Not sorry although the ExplorOz logo would've been nice.
The InFront one will cover the ExplorOz logo on the wheel cover when I'm using it.
