Good morning
It is nice up there. Sometimes quite cool, but nice.

Did you ford the Murray River at Tom Groggin, JS?

The depth is currently being reported as 0.71m at Biggara.

If you did the ford at Tom Groggin how did you find the depth, the flow, and is a slightly downstream loop still the shallowest way to get across?

Don't forget the video:-)

Gday George
river was not deep at all.
Davies Plain track was rated as difficult, but found nothing too hard.

Wow 27 hours for a weekend drive that probably included just 30km in low range!!! That would be why I chose to live only 30 minutes from the High country not in the "State of the locked gate'.
"You can not beat that view." Yes in Victoria we can actually :-))
Glad you enjoyed your drive down south.
Cheers Craig..................

Crackles,
The comment "You can not beat that view Yes in Victoria we can" refered to the Blue Rag Track. Last time I did the Blue Rag track, it was in Victoria. Now I'm confused as I planned to do the Blue Rag Track in two weeks time and I was going to Victoria to do it in. Not sure where to go now?

Des I'm just saying while Blue Rag (In Victoria) may be a nice view, there are a few other views in Victoria that I reckon to be even better :-)
Cheers Craig............

Hi PradoMad,
It's been a long time since with travelled in the Vic High Country.
Now that we are in the truck, do you think we would get through OK. Height is the main issue - 3150 clearance needed.

Hey Rob
Height, Width and Weight could cause some difficulties on some tracks. However you do some research and you should find some great spots.
