Clark Rubber do a good selection. We use a self inflating mattress plus the egg foam on the top and it's very very good.

Hi Barry

There used to be a couple of places south of the river that cut the required density of foam to size and would cover for you. I think Clark Rubber do this, but last time an off the shelf size suited us. Have you tried Yellow Pages?

G'day Barry

Clarke Rubber on the Great Eastern Highway ~ Midland ~ come highly recommended by me.

I had the inner spring mattersses (2 single beds) replaced with Clarke Rubber high density foam ~ this sleeping matteress foam is different to the cheaper stuff also available from Clarke's.

I also took their advice and had a 30 millimetre thick memory foam layer bonded to the top of the 150 millimetre matteress foam, it was all covered in a cotton material ~ made to order, the mattresses were pricey at $350 each, but I would do it all again no question ~ if I buy another caravan.

The reason in off loading the inner spring units was the fact they were out right rubbish to sleep on because I could feel each individual spring digging into my back.

The Clarke Rubber units are supurb to sleep on ~ so bloody good infact ~ I do not sleep in the house and the master bedroom has a Queen size bed with a u-beaut "Slumber something matteress" !!

HI Barry,

Not certain of the name but head up GE hy east and take the last road on the left before the railway bridge. (Into the industrial estate) Opposite the hotel and I think at the red Rooster. It is along there about 500 yards on the right. I think Future Foam, Faom Home etc or something like it.

I have also recently bought a foam mattress from Clark Rubber.
We were after a queen size mattress to replace the innersring mattress in the camper.
Tried both the "regular" foam mattress in 100mm thickness and the high density foam mattress in the same size.
The high density mattress was too firm for our liking and selected the regular one.

The mattresses come in regular sizes in single, double and queen size in several thicknesses and come with a zip on/off cover.
Clark will cut to whatever size you need.
Our mattress is about 75mm too long for the camper bed but we have decided to try it out over Easter to see if the small overhang causes any difficulty.
We can take it back to have the foam trimmed and would shorten the cover ourselves with the trusty Janome.

I was going to mention these guys too. Have only heard good things about them from friends who have dealt. They'll make anything in any size and ship it to your door.
