Hi All,
Has anyone got one or know about these trailers from Holiday trailers? they read well in the description but are they as good as they seem?, it also looks a good price for something which is made out of decent thickness steel.

Incase the link won't work the trailer is an off road 7x4 with a 50x50x4mm frame and a 75x50x4mm extended pull with 2.1mm chequer plate floor, guards and gussets on all 4 corners. The box side panels are 1.6mm sheet steel.

Just do a copy and paste into the "http" address box and it should work.

any help is appreciated

Thanks, Trev6

G'day Trev6,

I have a trailer from this mob although not quite the same as the one in the link.
It's about 5 years old now - no problems experienced maybe except being permanently outside it really does need to be repainted now but I guess that is to be expected.

Check to see if it come with new or 2nd hand tyres?

Cheers
Craig

Hi Trev6

Mine is the same. There paint seems to lift off as soon as you put anything in it. The tire down rails were not painted all round. Rust on the underside. If you are going to use them. go for the galvanised one.

Cheers

Thanks CraigB,

Yes it does come with second hand rims and tyres but I guess that is reflected in the price tag, new is an option at additional cost

As for the paint Steve B I wonder would they sell it in bare steel and I could prime and spray paint it myself.

Trev 6 - I purchased a Holiday Trailer in 2001 6x4 off road - excellent trailer. There was a thread on this site some time ago where a forum member thought they were in the top two trailers built in Sydney.
