On Patrol & TONI
We have been staying at
Mount Bundy Station Caravan &
Camp grounds
for the last few days & I have to say the stay was fantastic.
Member Doug T, of Sunday history fame, lives here on the station, he took us for a drive around
Adelaide River WWII sites & showed us around the property, very interesting indeed. Doug has put hundreds, if not thousands, of hours work into his research of military involvement in the NT region and the result is absolutely amazing.
I cannot thank you enough Doug, our stay will be remembered for a very long time thanks to you Doug.
If you are up this way MM Doug beforehand & your stay will also be one to remember.
Thanks Doug, Colin & Renate.

Add my vote for Mt Bundy station. Much better than the showground and a great swimming
pool.

Thanks for that
information guys. We are leaving in a few weeks to fulfill the dream of the Top end,
Kakadu and the
Kimberley followed by three weeks crossing the Simpson on the way
home.
We were going to stay at the
showgrounds but now we will make contact with
Mount Bundy Station.
Any other hints would be great.
This
forum has provided us with so much valuable
information!!!!
