To anyone planning to travel Tassie allow at least 3 weeks. We took the outlaw away for 5 days for her 78th birthday & saw about 20% of the place,
Hobart to
Strahan 300k's 4.5 hrs in a magna 5 to 5.5 in 4by, it might be a small island but the roads are windy. It was a great recey trip for next time when the baot goes from
Sydney so we can take the 4by & camper. Trees are so thick you need a chain saw to go for a leak.We will be bask!!!
Ps happy birthday Mr Al & Mrs Diamond, now to catch yup on what i missed while i we were enjoying ourselfsRegards Bob

great spot tossing around the idea with boss as to a 2 week tour next year.

Which way around did you go, we got off the boat and headed anticlockwise, not straight to
hobart, Lake Mtn I thnk was first.

we honeymooned in Tassie - but could only take a week..so it was a quick trip indeed...
Launceston to
Hobart...saw stacks...but not enough...can't wait to go back again....it's a great spot..and I reckon overlooked, parents spent somet time there earlier this year..and had a ball.
