Hi all. I intend travelling between
Innamincka and
Birdsville in about four weeks and unsure of the best route to take.
What is the condition of the track via
Walkers Crossing like? Is it better to travel via
Cordillo Downs. Which is the most "interesting" I have no trailer and a Prado with all the gear.
Opinions welcomed. Thanks

As said, both routes are presently closed but to respond to your second question, I prefer
Cordillo Downs track.

Thanks guys. Looks like the Cordello Downs track could be the best option depending on the rain gods !! Will keep an eye on the web site.
Thanks

Sunday I went up Arrabury Road in a roadtrain no need to go to Windora to get to
Birdsville.

Do not waste your time travelling thru Walker's Crossing, she'll be shut for a while.
For the best report on the Road Conditions, just ring the
Innamincka Trading Post, and the owners of the store will best guide you
