FIY.............Lindsay Bookie and crew including Mike Branch-Smith have just been from Jervois down to Beachcomber along the
Hay River (Bookie Track)
clearing a lot of scrub on the way leaving a track. Around
Lake Caroline lots of bush, the Lake is full but will dry quickly.
Things to be really careful of:
- Fire is real danger, use a hook to remove grass from under the vehicle
- Need a good shade cloth blind to keep the grass seeds out of the radiator.
- the very fine pollen gets through so need a brush to get it out.
- watch out for the critters.
- there are mice and rats out there most of them protected.
PERMITS ARE AVAILABLE EMAIL ME.

G'day Jol
Thanks for the update. We have delayed our trip of course due to the weather and expect to be at Lindsay's on 22 Aug. We are hoping to get a few more participants yet.
I meant to let Lindsay know that Max did a fantastic job of the Bush Tucker tour last year- he is a talented bloke.
Be in touch
David

You can get permits for the
Hay at Mt Dare
Homestead now - once paid for, they fax the info to Jol F and he sorts the on-connection with Lindsay's people. Such convenience !
