Hi guys,
Courtesy of some delinquent last night, this morning I am looking at new door lock options. The bugger didn't get in but he has jammed a screw driver in each lock rendering them useless with a key.
Have started looking at some aftermarket locks and it appears that the solex ones get good right ups. Only problem there is, is that the kit to suit a 75 series only has 2, not the 3 that I need with a troopie.
Has anyone had any experience with solex or any other aftermarket door locks?
Dave

Hi. Not sure where you are Dave. We use a company in
Sydney called "Nice" I'm pretty sure they supply Repco as
well. Cheers,Bob

Must be a fad. A friend and about four others in her street got their windows smashed to get in last night. Locks are cheaper to replace at least.
When my lock was busted a few years back, the Police told me any thing that will acept a flat screwdriver will be accesible.
The round one is similar to what Harley Davidsons are now using for their ignition. Don't know if the brand is the same.

Phillips head screwdriver? Pin punch?
Even if they can't take it away, they delight in breaking it.
