Trucksterer, :-)
Is the mud racing down there the modified street typr or is it only the full blow jobbies. We have it here in
Darwin, you get 2wd, standard 4wd, modified 4wd and open class which is anything goes. We have plenty of rain up here at the moment so that makes it interesting. Maybe you should have taken the old Nissan in for a play!

Yes Kev it is down at Hidden Valley. I think the trick to the mud racing is not to make it too hard. The first few meetings were way too boggy and the resulting car damage put a few people off. I blew the clutch up in my V8 shorty but gee I had some fun while it lasted. They have it sorted now as far as the track goes. There are some blokes out there who take it very very seriously though. Nothing like a good mud run with your mates in the long run.

We used to be in the Landcruiser club in
Darwin & we built that obstical course with the help of the Army about 15 years ago. (just a
young fella)
I remember we gathered up all the
old car bodies & dumped dirt on them, thats how the hills were built.
Don't know how it is now though.
Just some triva for ya !
Kev.
