hi all, its good to see some rain falling in
sydney i hope more areas are getting some as
well especially those that need it. anyway to the question, the rear left side window on a gu patrol having a thin strip circulating thru it but open ended therefore not being a demister i suspect a aerial but the car has a more conventional one anyway so is it nissan factory fitted and not used in australia or something else. cheers rob

Hi Ramp,
This wire trace is the Short Wave ( SW ) antenna. My ST was fitted with the Dual Height CD/Cass/AM/FM/SW unit. It uses this for the short wave band.

Mark

It is quite good too, only the series ones were fitted with these radios, although the rear window has the aerial on all models.
The SW is quite good, once stuck in
Innamincka with bad weather I was getting weather info from everywhere on the east coast and SA through SW...
