I am a new member and I own a 100 series standard wagon cut down to a ute. The driver and passenger seats have had it and was wandering if the GXL seats would bolt straight in. Any info would be great.

The GXL seats will bolt straight in...they did in mine before I found a great set of Recaro seats for just a little more than the wrecker wanted for the GXL ones.

Keep an eye out on eBay and the other auction sites..you can pick up some great seats at a fraction of new price.

The GXL seats do have a plug on the bottom for airbag activation and to trigger the seatbelt light on the dashboard. This is also the same if yours has airbags...

Thanks for that Mark, mine does have airbags so it will work out just fine. Now about those recaro seats do the bolt straight in or do you need an adapter kit to fit them.

you'll need to buy the bases that adapt to whatever vehicle your installing them into.
i have SAAS pump up lumbar support seats in my 105 series, and the bases i made for them are just held to the seat with 4 bolts in the bottom of them, you can just add whatever base to the seat is required for whatever vehicle.
