I am planning a Tassie trip with Falcon and Ultimate camper trailer. One of the spots I will visit is north east. I was wondering if somebody can recommend the nicest campground in the above mentioned area. I might camp in both areas. When I mean nicest, I mean with the best scenery and wildlife (and needs to be accessible by Falcon). Thank you.

Poilceman's Point is a great spot.

No fees, no signs, just take some fire wood with you.

Bay of Fires is at the bottom of the Mt William National Park and all the camp site would be accessible to a Falcon, if you go to the top end, Stumpys Bay there should be an abundance of wild life.
Good camping at Deep Creek near Eddystone light house, Policemans Point as mentioned.
Also good camping at Cape portland if no wind from the North, Waterhouse Point.
Enjoy our State and don't tell anyone about it.

Hi ler

We stayed beachside at Cosy Corner North on the Bay of Fires; lovely spot. Leaving the caravan there we did day trips to the other places mentioned.

I have seen mentioned Cosy Corner North elsewhere as the best campground in that area, anybody else think so?

Camped there on a number of occasions, yep, its a great spot, but popular, if you like the sound of breaking waves and being by your self, a little further north,(no more than half to one K) try Sloop Rock, its a bit of a squeeze but we can manouver our 19' van into the spot, right on the waters edge.
Enjoy.
