So we made it, bit late due to gearbox seal problem but i can not get over the amount of 4wds here and we went out to "Big Red" and it was like a carpark with heaps of cars out there................ but very happy to have done it eh....

J&M and tribe,

We made sure that we stayed well clear of the maddening crowds and were at Innamincka while the races were on, then bolted for Quilpie threw Eromanga today. lots turning up in Quilpie and they will probably leave tomorrow morning. When we went out to Big Red we had it to ourselves and the same happened at the Cooper ferry.

I'm goin in mid October and I don't particularly care how long I have to wait for that ferry.
I'm driving 1400klms for that 15mins.

Damn, I'm looking forward to that trip.

I'll only be getting as far as the ferry but I am looking forward to it in mid October.

Spent the day doing squat, went to the Museum, it was well worth it i may add, and went to the pub, cause we could ........

it's for sale ....... no idea what they are asking but yes it would be a shame, a lot of stuff is from the surrounding stations and nothing will replace that eh ......

As Lancie said its the Simpson desert 1000 odd dunes and totally relaxing. Lancie you wont just do it once its like a drug and i gotta have my yearly fix lol.
