QUANSHENG UHF

G/day I,m at wits end I own a Quansheng uhf radio modelTG45AT I can't get any response out of the manufacturers of this radio
It seem to only want to scan on 6 digit numbers instead of the 1 to 40 channels do any of you techno's know how to return it to that setting
I have had a good run with it up to now never let me down in the 4 years I have owned it I realise soon I will probably need to buy a new one to get the 80 channels eventually Ta wyatt

John,

I presume that you do not have an Operators Manual to refer to. I that is so, one for your TG45AT can be downloaded free from here.

Al,
you like Motherhen are a font of knowledge. Great that you can spare the time to give knowledgeable and professional responses to the many and varied queries from members.
Keep it up!

hi Wyatt, I'm not sure about changing from frequency readout to channel readout on your quansheng, but I am sure you won't have to update to make use of 80 channels. The current (or old) 40 channels are separated by 25KHz gaps. the new 80 channels are separated by 12.5 KHz. Your radio will almost certainly have the capability to separate down to 6.25.

The manual should show you how. Good luck.
