G'Day Mick,

I can't help with the manufacturer in Wagga but i am looking at this one made in Carrum downs Vic.

Traytop camper

I bought a camper trailer from this company years ago & had a great run with it. They have been around a while & are a great company to deal with. Went & looked it over twice last weekend & its well put together. Made of aluminium too.

Cheers

I just remembered that they told me there is an 8 month lead time in getting one built but for me it would be worth the wait.

G'day Muzbry

Thats great to hear about your good run with your camper trailer.

I had one of the early builds & had a few teething problems because I was one of the first people to give their trailer a real workout for 2 years continuously in off road conditions around Australia.
Made a few mods while I was away & advised Jim at Outback of my ideas & he took them onboard & they were incorporated into later builds.

Certainly can not not copmplain about dealing with a company prepared to listen to usefull advise from customers out in the field.
Pretty adamant that my next purchase will be from them.

Cheers

G'day Michael,
A quick Google did not come up with much.

Look at the exhibitors list from the show as per this link 4x 4 show exhibitors
It may jog your memory on the name of the company.

If not try contacting the exhibitor:

The best slide on camper I have seen is the Wedgetail. It has a similar layout inside to the Ultimate Camper Trailer but has miore storage, hot water, a shower and toilet. I saw it at the Rosehill Show and from memory they were about 35k.
Not sure if this is the one you have seen.
Hope this helps, Mike.
