Hi All, We have planned a trip to Dorrigo from QLD via Nymboida , Clouds creek then Chapmans plains RD, onto Moonmerri Rd then Mills RD.
I was wondering If anyone new the conditions of these roads.
As I plan to tow an offroad 7x4 camper trailer through this area .
There maybe a possibility that a friend will tow his Jayco offroad eagle also through here.
I`m hoping they`re not too much of an offroad track or too narrow or steep in parts.
Any info would be very helpful.

Thanks, Everyone

Haven't been in there for a while, but been to Platypus Flat along some of those roads when dry in a Commodore.
Been to The Junction in a heavily laden Pajero towing a CT with bikes on the tow bar no problem in 2WD (again it was dry). Even saw an old Honda Civic at The Junction belonging to someone camped there for a week, though he said he will need a tow out over the erosion banks.

Not been on Chapmas Plains Rd.

Suggest you ring the Tyringham store for "local" advice as well as NPWS (what ever they are called now) at Dorrigo.

Thanks for your info mark.
I will try and get some local knowledge by phone, seems to be the best option.
Cheers

Gday Mrbush, Mark from Ballina, went to Platypus Flats last year, road had just been graded, was wet as hell but passable, beautiful spot, check out Places, I posted last year, didn't do all those roads, talked to blokes who had, some were blocked with trees, they used a winch a bit, as suggested, check with locals, enjoy...
