Saw these 2 legends parked beside each other this morning, in Winton.

The town is busy with Ironmen & Ironwomen events, plenty of visitors and stalls aplenty in the main street, opposite the North Gregory Hotel.
Bit of a Pub Crawl yesterday morning for the more adventurous, and apparently a few not in good shape today!!!

Seen it all, Done it all.
Can't remember most of it.

Ah Bob. Beautiful examples of their time. I just love them. Great to see someone is looking after them. Cheers, Bob

Yeah, I thought so too, Bob.

Good that people are preserving them, and getting a bit of work out of them too. Imagine the "economy" of that FJ55, into a headwind, ugh!!!

Bob.

Actually, they were both "gas guzzlers" in their day. 12 to 15 mpg if you were lucky. I wish I could have got near that on the way to Silverton. 90k headwind from Willcania with a full size van on the back of a Prado gave me 32l/100k or 8.5 MPG. Ah well, the trip is worth it. Cheers,Bob
