Hello all,

Can anyone please give any advice on the above camping spots, thinking of camping for a few days and will be taking a our dog with us also.
I will be towing a camper trailer so the plan is to camp near or on the beach for a bit of R&R.

Sandy Cape /point is north of Jurien Bay

cheers and all the best,
stamps

Sandy Cape is a very nice spot and you should have the pick of sites at this time of year. There is an honour box with envelope as you come in where you pay your daily fee which is not very much. You are vertually on the beach with a very sheltered area on the southern end. There are 2 drop toilets and a fresh water tank.It is only a short drive in on a good gravel road from the main road a short distance (about 10-15k) north of Jurian.best to avoid school holiday time but in Oct. you should still have a choice of sites. You can launch a tinny of the beach but pay attention to the closed fishing areas which are signposted on the beach.Hope this helps,

Wilbinga is about 400km from Greenough River!

I assume hes referring to the area between Flat Rocks and Greenough River Mouth?

Just do it discreetly, there are dozens of tucked away areas and Id be amazed if you spotted a ranger away from the road outside of holidays?

Hi stamps

If your click on the .pdf document from the linked page, it has a map of the camp sites, details and fees charged for Sandy Cape. They tell me it gets crowded school holidays and long weekends.
