Hi all,
Just wanted to drop a line and give credit where credit is due.

We all hear about crappy service, shoddy materials and Chinese imports.

I purchased a 2004 second hand Tambo Cooper Camper trailer from a guy in 2007. Hardly used with most of the bits I wanted.

It came with the second bedroom. Being a 2004, it had a small design issue with getting the second bedroom taugt. I rang Tambo and explained the issue. Keith and his wife said "bring it in and well take a look". I left it with them and they called back 5 days later and said all fixed. "NO CHARGE". The draft skirt had the press studs pulled off by the previous owner. Fixed "NO CHARGE".

Fast forward 2011, I needed to replace a "Zip on" clear window for the front of the camper. Because the design was off a 2004 model it was different to their current design. They completely fixed the old window to the old design with a few modern twists.

This company make great canvas, use fantastic trailers and their service is second to none. I bought it second hand and they treat me like a first owner.

If your looking at buying a camper and want someone to walk you through it or bounce ideas off, call Tambo.

We have taken the camper up the east coast, all around Victoria including the high country and it has NEVER failed us.

Thats my two cents worth...

I agree totally. Great trailer, great service.
My next camper will be another Tambo.

This is another in the string of great Tambo comments I have heard. Good to see that service isnt a thing of the past

Hi Matt.

I understand what you are about, I purchased my Cooper from them 5 years ago, and now wanted a new cover and a door zip.

After them asking me why I required a new door zip, they recommended they would send me the runner only.

So a few days later I got the new cover and a runner, only being invoiced for the cover.

If this is not extraordinary good service then what is ?

Cheers Robert

Good post Matt,

They certainly make a great product, and back it up better than anyone buy the sounds.

Cheers....Browny

Hi there,

Why did you need a new door zip. Mine is over running, opening on both sides of the zip. Is it the same issue?

Thanks

Hi mattd

In our case we would try to close the door with the zip, by passing the runner, and it would not close.

According to Keith and Amanda it is the runner that wears out and not the zip.

It looks like yours could be the same issue.

Cheers Robert

Service like that can be hard to find, reckon you should right them a quick thankyou letter, stuff like that goes a long way.
