Greetings - over our Prado LPG/gas as gas price here in
Bega is cost prohibitive and not economical at all , and the prado is costing a fortune to run ( almost as much as my diesel Patrol ) is terrible at towing ( gutless ) and going for another diesel that can tow the caravan and boat ect when we want to get out and about and dont want to use the Patrol
With that said - Looking at 4x4 Terrican from act( for the wife ) - whats involved with rego transfer from act to NSW and what costs would i expect to pay ( in dollar term ) - blue slip required for interstate transfer ?
done a quick google search and didnt give me $ value
thanks in advance

Generally around $40 odd for a rego inspection, they usually just swap the rego for free, same expiry date but you'll have to buy plates.

Blue slips were $50
Then if it passes you will be up for 12months rego.
Transfer fee 3% of the market value or buying price dont make it look to cheap as they will check or want to see a recipt.
And set of number plates about $35
You will have to get a refund on the remaining rego from the ACT rta.

I am sure that the 3% is only for purchases not if you already own the vehicle.
Thant is unless it has changed.

Sorry, miss read.
When you purchase and register a car in NSW you are up for a lot of money.
It would be around $1,000 for rego and CTP plus stamp duty and number plate costs
