just spotted a s/100 series RV in a yard in
Sydney.Dark blue,body in good nick,98 model,petrol, one owner with 180k's, 16x8
wheels, cloth interior with all the goodies, steel bull bar with a warn high mount winch. Solid front axle, not IFS. Priced at 26k. Is this cheap or what?

Sounds about right for a petrol RV with that many K's. I am not sure but i don't think they ever made a bar for the 100 that could take a highmount winch, but I could be wrong. As it is in a yard I would offer them about 22K and see what they say, if I got it for less then $25K I would think it is reasonable, but I would be happier with a diesel. The dark colour also shows scrathches alot more then a white one.
Regards
Cashy

We paid $26k in Oct for a 40th anniv 1997 series 80 with 103,000kms petrol, manual so to me yours sounds like a pretty good buy. Go for it!

Gday
Friend picked up a petrol/gas GXL with factory extras like alloys, mats, bar etc plus full service history (same colour) last yr for 28990. 240kms, your car sounds like a good buy, but remember it is now a superceeded model, and prices will keep falling. Otherwise a good compromise between cheep and 100 series :-)
