As Kamahl would say *How Unkind*.
Oh
well, when Tojos give up they melt them down and make *Great Wall 4x4s*.
Cheers.

Hi Pinko,
Can you tell us where it is Please?
It looks to me as if it could be on the
Marree -
Muloorina Station road near the old Lake Letty
Homestead looking south.

Hi Stan,
Yes, I can recall a lot about
Muloorina Station. I worked there in 1967 & 1968 as a general station hand, and travelled that road every week for supplies from
Marree. That has always been a bad bull dust patch on that road.
I love to go "back home" when I can. (It's my second home)
Thank you for the reply.

[Disclaimer: Without particularly wanting to start a Toyota verses Nissan war/thread]
Speaking of "Dead" patrols , recently our little group of Landcruisers were coming home from a long weekend of 4WDing near
Augusta when we past this tragic, but all to common, scene on the freeway:-Image Could Not Be Found
When passing something like this it makes you wonder what happened and ponder the eventual fate of the hapless Nissan...
Best case scenario:
The patrol is critically "Ill or Injured" and the Landcruiser "Ambulance" is taking it to the nearest "Emergency Department".
[
cue- Sirens & Flashing Lights ]
Worst case scenario:
The patrol is "Deceased" and beyond redemption and the Landcruiser "Hearse" is taking it to the "Patrol Burial Grounds".
[
cue- Undertaker & Funeral Dirge]
Most likely scenario:
The "Knackered" Patrol 'grenaded' and the Landcruiser "Bone-Collector" is taking it to the "Knackery" so that it can be rendered down for spare parts. [

RIP , wake to follow. [
cue- Party Pies &
Memorial Drinks]
Cheers & Beers ;)
Welldone
PS......It's a little reminiscent of the 'Bring out your dead' scene from Monty Python's 'Holy Grail' movie

My guess is they have thrown a set of skinnier
wheels on it just so it would fit on the trailer.
I have had to do that to some of my 4by's over the years.
