Green Horne
Hi all,
I'm looking to purchase a beut Cruiser for a great price, it's exactly what i want for me and the kids to take to
the beach with the vinyl floor etc. I must answer a question before i make the purchase.
I would like to pick up a 3rd row
seat for it and have been informed that it must have the install kit with it, that i should be able to navigate with some patience.
What i don't know: Does the standard series have the nesessary bolt holes etc in the back for the
seat and the belts etc?

Hi Green Horne, I am sure someone will have the answer, or you could try the Lcool website. Don't forget you will have to get compliance on the new seats and belts too.

Hi Green Horne,
Have a look on your fire wall at the compliance plate(just above the brake booster) it will have how many seats it is to have. If you have 8, it is just a matter of getting hold of the third row seats and
seat belts and fixings.
If it is for only 5, you will have to get it plated for 8. not sure if the bolt holes are in the standard bus or not.
Hope this helps.

Hi Green Horne
I own a 97 standard DX 80 series. I do not believe the required bolt holes are there. It's a year or two since I've had all the rear trim out but I cannot remember seeing any such holes.
As already stated, it will have to be complianced to eight seats which may prove costly for such an old vehicle. If you must have the extra seats there are plenty of eight
seat GXL 80 series on the market which also have more equipment as standard.

Bolts holes are not there. It will cost you a mint to get a 3rd row fitted complete with belts + get it complianced. Better off buying an 8 seater GXL or RV.
The standard model is 6 seater. Years ago when our 4 kids were smaller, we put one in the middle in the front with a harness.

Hi Green Horne,
I have an #80 Cruiser (Blue Marlin) and it came complete with the 3rd row of seats (the fold-up, sideways, ones) and which I removed to install roller-drawers (and which are still there).
I have the two seats tucked away in the roof of my house "for that rainy day" but you may have them for free if you arrange collection (Northern Beaches,
Sydney).
Cheers,
DickyBeach

Hi Green Horn,
If you find an 80 Series poverty pack and you also want to replace the back bench
seat with a split
seat, I have one, free of charge, in the
Classisified section that you can have (
Sydney).
