With all respect, how would we on the Forum know? Suggest you try emailing the management on "info@exploroz.com"

Cheers

Allan this was just another question asked in the shop which is then automatically doubled up in the forum so in effect he did email management direct ;-) How would we know? Well we just have to look at the covereage map & it shows the Guide covers from & including the Madagan down the Hay River to Poepells Cnr. It doesn't however seem to go right up to the Plenty Highway.

Well in reality he didn't Mick. When you look at all these diverted questions they get very few if any replies & don't really add much to the forum other than get a few more stats. Those asking the questions are often surprised it ends up on the forum as much as people like Allan.
Cheers Craig.............

Hi Alan,
Yes it does. If you click on the image of the product to see the enlarged view you can see that the title says it covers the Hay River. You can also click on the Coverage tab alongside the product description to see the exact area covered.
Perhaps someone else on the Forum has a copy of this map too and can answer any other queries you have. I see a good review for it talks about it also covering the Madigan line.

Use this map with caution, I have used it now over a couple of season in the Northern Simpson and it does contain many errors.

Ensure you have alternative maps if heading into this region.

Alan,

No it doesn't cover the Hay River Track, it covers from Old Andado Station across Cecil Madigans Route to Birdsville. (It does cover a small section of the Hay River Track, but not the whole route).

It's a very good route guide put together with the assistance of Ian Stabler & his wife Pat who as the older members of the Forum would know used to work at Mt Dare prior to his passing away after a car accident.

While it is not the specific feedback you are looking for I can highly recommend the Hay River CD Rom:

http://www.mapsdownunder.com.au/cgi-bin/mapshop/WP-HAYCD.html

They are not the only place that sell it.

If you are using Oziexplorer it comes with electronic maps for Ozi and you can print paper copies of these to have with you. The maps contain points of interest and there are various other files on the CD with lots of information about the area.

Thanks for that feedback Ando, That Cd looks pretty much what I was originally looking for . Will probably get one . As mentioned I was not aware I was posing a question on the forum. It didn't look that way.
