Mandy,
Don't know current position, but we camped there couple years back, would have to have been the worst night we have spent in a van, not much in the way of level ground, and the wind rocked the van all night, worse than being on a yacht in the
Sydney to
Hobart, and that's saying something.
Cheers
Baz

Hi Mandy, I have camped there twice now in the last two years. I went up the
hill then took the left track down into the little bay facing north. Out of the wind and peaceful. Went fishing of the old wharf and along a couple of the beaches there. Plenty of wood for a campfire, camped in tents.
Very windy place nearly all year.

Caught a lot of Big Macks off this old jettie
Getting hard to get out on it now safely though.
When the wind is blowing you can float a plilly out with a balloon & hang on, best bait is live herring if they are around.
I
camp at the far point (Not Archers) and you can catch Coral Trout from the rocks on a good day. It is a medium to hard 4 x 4 trek to get there though and not easy on the paintwork.
Most of this land is now owned/joint managed by Traditional Owners.
