I don't know the ratio for the mix, but if you try searching for 'Napisan' you may have more luck.

Hi Julie

Because this question gets asked so often, i have written a Blog - click on my blogs near my signature and find the one on toilets. I do not use eucalyptus oil - some people do because they like the scent.

DO NOT USE eucalyptus in a cassette toilet. Eucalyptus will soften/melt the plastic material.
2 cap fulls nappy treatment with 1.5L water and good squeeze of dish washing liquid is the go.

Ditto...Ditto.....

Do not use euclyptus oil in the porta potti. If you do want to use it, sit the porta potti on a bath mat, and sprinkle some eucalyptus oil on the mat. Much more effective.

There is no set rule as to the ratio of napisan in a porta potti. Use the HOMEBRAND at about $3 a container, and it should last 2 adults for at least two months. Just chuck a couple of capfulls into the pan, pour a litre or so of water into that, then flush. Adjust as necessary, being guided by any odour, as the bottom tank fills. Just keep in mind, it is only a porta potti, not a septic tank. Whenever another option is available, I prefer to use that.

I don't put any in the top tank. You will find that in cold weather you will use less, and you will use more as the weather heats up.

Much cheaper and more effective than the horrible smelling chemicals.

Go to Lets-Getaway and click on RV Extras.Than go to Home Made Toilet Chemicals. I have used Remedy Two with great success.

Get a four litre contaiiner and mix together in that. Cheap and lasts a long time.
