Toowoon Bay and Patonga are nice but you'll be lucky to get in now - worth a try

Hi
If you want to
bush camp,
The Pines up in the Watagans in quite nice(
free camp), The road is a reasonable Forest road. Also you may get a spot in the Munmorah State
Recreation Area although there are only a small number of sites there. Just about everywhere on the Coast will be booked out around this time of year.
Have a great Christmas
Ken

You could try
Norah Head C/P that good..! one at Budgewoi.
Theres also plenty up near Swansie, Bellmont, Also a big 4 on the south end of the lake it's alright but over priced and under developed or up dated.
But if your really stuck with no where to go! and wan't free theres a rest bay at Ourimbah with
toilets Play ground Etc. Wouldn't mind staying there me self.
Maybe even out the back of the
Caltex twin servo's with the trucks on the F3
Cheers.

Thanks Roughasguts , i'll see how we go , must be the toughest week of the year i guess apart from maybe
easter to get a spot without a booking , we;ve got a dog too so doubly tough . Nice area here , wouldn't mind a few weeks here .

Phew 110.oo a night , it's not too bad here at Canton Beach was $28.00 a night for powered site but gone up to $ 48.00 for peak . Love the lifestyle though , we've only been on the road 3 weeks but already we've done heaps , something new everyday

Try
HERE
Not far from anywhere in the Hunter Valley, and in the heart of the vineyards.
The coast is booked out till the end of January. Use this as a base, and drive to beautiful spots like Lake Macquarie, Port Stephens, Cental Coast (
The Entrance, Gosford),
Stockton and the list goes on.
Sydney, (heaven forbid) less than 2 hrs down the F3.
