Thought I'd post our wishes as we know schools are finishing up and holidays [for you lucky ??!!] ones will be starting soon....

David and Michelle - it's a great site, sooooo glad Wombat told me about it back in March. Al and I have enjoyed meeting and making new friends from Explor Oz and hope to continue to do so.

On a personal level, the forum has provided me with not only useful information but also a great deal of entertainment, and in a year that has had a great deal of stress for me personally it has been a welcome relief.

So..for everyone...have a very happy Christmas...hope Santa thinks you've all been good and spoils you rotten and here's hoping 2004 is a fantastic year for all of us...keep safe..and enjoy !!!...

"The Al's" - Lynda, Alan, Tegan & Callum Merry Christmas & a safe and happy New Year

Maaaaaaaaaa
It's been nice bantering with you on the forum with you. Hope that next year will be less stressful for you (and your family). Might get to meet you guys next year but if I do, it will be with some sadness because my mental picture of you (toothy grin, wrinkles, sagging ......, straw hat) might end up bleep tered and gone.

All the best for Chrissy and talk again sooooon.

Yes Andrew, it is always interesting putting faces to names. For those of us who get involved in many posts on this forum, one(maybe un wittingly) divulges a little more info about oneself every time you post. With that in mind a mental picture can always be built up at least of age and sometimes stature.

I have met "The Al" family, Diamond, The Wombat family,Truckster, OutnaboutDavid and have spoken on the phone with a few others.

I won't give Mrs Al's secret away though. You will have to find out for yourself :-))

A mugshot of me, if you are curious, is on my website in the genealogy section. Go to www.kempen.id.au

Happy times.

And a Happy time over the festive season to all the "The Al" family from Willie and Judith and Jeddah(woof woof)

Through this site we were priviledged to meet all of you in person and become friends and that can only be good.

Looking forward to catching up again at the great EO camp out at Little Desert next year.

Cheers,

Beautiful website Willem. Great to see an image of you. As I am sure all the women say, you are a very handsome man! Sounds like have travelled heaps more than I have or probably ever will, but I am very happy with my wife and kids and we have a ball wherever we are. I will explore your websites with vigour tonight, drooling on my desk.
I was thinking, if you start making Camper trailers, you could call them Kempen Kampers which has a certain symmetry that is beautiful given your roots.

Dearest Lorry, again, Merry Christmas to all of your family and best wishes for a happier and safer New Year. Without this site, we would have a sadder world, some great friendships have been established and I look forward to continuing that friendship in the future.
You certainly have added in more ways than one to this site. I look forward to tagging behind Willem down to the Little Dessert to meet the mob if we don't manage it in February.
To all the other forumites, have a safe and happy Festive Season.
Best wishes

Happy Christmas to The Als!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We too are glad to be members of this site, as it has been so informative when we needed it and yet has so much of the lighter side in life, to bring out a hearty laugh and a smile on our dials, in the privacy of our office. I sit here at the computer with my feet in a foot spa or pedal on my exercise bike a couple of times a day while reading the forum.......no wasted time here:-) My kids think I am out of my tree, but who cares, I wonder at the things they do at times too. Anyway have a great Christmas and help bring some more laughs and fun into the New year. Jen

To "The Al's" and everyone else,

Merry Christmas to you all. It's been great getting to know you all. This forum is not only informative, but also fun and I've met some great "e-freinds" here. Great to have other like-minded folk to chat with when I'm stuck at home but would rather be in the bush somewhere (which is 99% of the time!).
