Hi, the old HJ75 troopy finally quit at 500K. I have just bought a 8/2001 Troopy at auction. My question is - Is there a fuel bleeder valve hidden somewhere I cannot see. I want to replace the 2 standard fuel filters as part of a service. It was easy on the old 2H. I haven't been able to source a manual yet so sorry for the dumb question. Cheers Rossco

Thanks for the link. I'll see if I can source one locally here in the NT. I'm driving to Sydney on Boxing Day so it would be nice to do the filters before departing. Cheers Rossco

If its the same setup fuel wise as the 1HZ then all you have to do is keep pumping the primer (on top of water separator / filter) until it goes hard (harder) and then start her up. Might idle a little rough for a few seconds but self bleeds quickly. That's all I've done on mine and never had a drama.

Cheers,
Hughesy

1hz Toyota manual (not gregories) on ebay at the moment 15 bucks. The pump on the new truck primes itself, you just need to supply enough fuel via primer to get it going.
Safe trips
