If you are looking for a genuine good guy to fix your van I had a really good experience just recently.
No self interest or connection, family etc.
Michael Medhurst of Star Campers
Port Sorell (near
Devonport) replaced my battery maintain'n charge charger and the waterpump at a days notice. A phone call from
Melbourne and this guy had spares to fit.
No one in
Melbourne wanted to look at it.
Call on (03) 64286393. He works from
home building campers so he knows what he's doing.

hi bill
just refered to a down load of caravan repairers for every state that i found on another website
this is a very useful list for anyone needing repairs in any state local or while travelling around
eg : www.galaxycaravans.com.au/repairers.htm
and his name wasnt on it
there was only 1 repairer listed for the whole of tassie so i have added him to my download pages for future reference
