Hi Does anyone know how to get the freight charge on tyres imported from the US purchased from this company. No email contact address and they only quote freight to US areas with zip codes.

Looks like they don't frieght outside of Oz. When we want something from a company in the US that doesn't freight overseas we have it sent to a US address and then have it sent from there. We now have friends in USA who can do it but there are companies in USA that offer the service for a small fee.

We had our rims sent direct from the USA and despite the dollar being low at the time and the high cost of frieght they were still considerably cheaper than we could purchase here.

I just purchased 4 BFG KM2 33x12.5x15 from them yesterday! For these tyres they charged US$476.01 freight to an address in Sydney. Delivery time is 3-6 days. I provided them an address, they provided the price. Contact Adrian@tirerack.com as he was my sales rep and did everything for me. I saved AU$300 odd that included delivery from US.

I have used Goopping at www.goopping.com and they were great.

You can buy from the manufacturer/supplier and arrange freight to Goopping via US Mail, then for a small handling charge plus freight they will on-send to you. Easy-as!
Alternatively, they can order the parts for you and freight them to you, but they charge a fee for the purchase - I think it is a % of cost + handling + freight.

You need to register with them, and you get a unique member number that you use in the address to them if you want to purchase them yourself...
eg:
c/o Goopping #12345
932 North State Street Unit #2
Orem, UT 84057
where '12345' would be your number.

When I used them, the supplier would freight to Australia, but for around $205. Goopping freighted here for $65.

Goopping provide insurance cover, and mail tracking.

cheers,
glids
