Dont forget there are as many people in
Sydney as the whole of NZ. Imagine 210,000 suvs just in
Sydney.
It was more the point of some do gooders waning to 'ban all suvs off city roads' that got me going.
It seems to be the battlecry of our modern society, if its different or I dont understand it "lets ban it"

210000 on the road and only three people killed thats pretty impressive 0.001428% fatalities.
I wonder how many normal accidents as a percentage involving normal vehicles are fatalities. If the number is more then it throws their argument right out the window.

I like these figures.
"In 341 crashes in three years, three SUV drivers were killed. "
Thats pretty bleep in good I think!
"But 15 people who were in cars hit by SUVs lost their lives, according to Land Transport Safety Authority statistics."
How many by cars....?

15/341 = 4.7%
If they looked at 341 accidents between "normal" passenger vehicles I wonder how many deaths they would find. Of course they'd need to look at the 341 worst accidents (to replicate what they've done here).Smile, you're on ExplorOz

Thats 16.5% of 4by's in three years had serious accidents, why don't they show a comparison with so called normal cars for the same time.Answer: we would look good & spoil their story. Regards Bob
