Hi there

Can anyone tell me of any reputable 4wd training courses in /around the canberra region. I've just recently bought a 4wd and while I'm not interested in joing a 4wd club at the moment, i would like to undertake a basic 4wd skills course.

any advice greatly appreciated

Best off going to one of the the ACT 4WD Clubs. At least they will do it right, as well as respect the scrub.

Mate - go to the 4WD Spectacular Weekend to be held at the Queanbeyan Show grounds in Feb 04. You should find everything that you want there.

Hi Ruffy

Although the company is based in Sydney their specially constructed 4wd training area is at Braidwood. I found them very professional. They run courses over a full weekend and they go all year round.

I second that, Dave and Gabby from AssieOffroad are great - excellent training and an ejoyable weekend with good food and stories. I was very pleased with our 'training' experience with them - even the wife came away with renewed confidence due to their training techniques (she was a bit timid going into the training weekend). Now I have trouble keeping her out of the drivers seat.Moggs ( Normanhurst NSW)
