Merry Xmas to all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We will be in NSW and VIC towards the end of 2004 with family (2kids 9 & 7) and we would like some info on good caravan sites in NSW and VIC particularly in
Sydney and
Melbourne. Looking for somewhere fairly central, close to touristy type
places, clean and good for the kiddies.
Any suggestions?

Just checked my Big4 booklet, there are 2 close by to the centre of Melb - but being a
melbourne girl, I've not stayed in them - they are 4 & 5 Star Parks and both are 9kms from
Melbourne
1. 5 star
park is Ashley Gardens - in Braybrook [9kms west of Melb] - www.ashleygardens.com.au
2. 4 star
park is
Melbourne Big 4 Holiday
Park in Coburg [9kms north of Melb] www.big4melb.com..
both seem to have heaps of facilities....check them out..

Have a look at Lane Cove National
Park in
Sydney. It is about as central as you can get, and have a caravan/
camp site section. Regards G.T.

there is also quite a big
park at Nth Narrabeen on sydneys northern beaches bit further from the city
but right on
the beach.

Can't speak highly enough of Ashley Gardens near Braybrook, Melb. VIC
10 mins from city, bus to city outside front door,
Supermarket 3 mins away, pub 4 mins with special deal for
Park stayers, easy to freeway & South Melb & Ehibition Bldg., Tassie ferry, etc. On road from
Adelaide, near road from
Geelong. Lovely venue/grounds.
Been there about 5 times from SA, cabins and camper trailer & caravan. Has kitchen etc. available to all. Nice people, Big 4 discounts apply.
