I'm soon to be taking delivery of Jeep CJ8 and as it has a fair few k's on the clock i'm looking at an engine conversion. A 308 or a 350 are what i was pondering, as they are easy to come by, easy to service and get parts for... however i have next to no experience with jeeps or conversions.... I'm also having trouble finding a place that has actually heard of a CJ8 (or CJ7 for that matter) to do the actual conversion...Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Nicolle

Nicolle,
Some years back we bought a ski boat, and prior to the purchase was advised by another dealer to get a boat with 350, if possible, as they were cheaper to run, in parts. Dunno about fuel costs. 350 would boogey a bit better too, I'd reckon?
hooroo...
