Hi all,
Just need some info on what tyre would be best for my Xtrail. The rear tyres are getting a little worn and I am planning a big trip from
Sydney to the Whitsundays in about two weeks time. And yup, i'll be headed over to Fraser Island along the way.
The desert duellers that came stock with my Xtrail are in my opinion not that great. Are there any Xtrail owners who can help out? what is the best tyre/s factoring i do:
1) 95% bitumen.
2) 4% forest roads. that unsealed, pot holed, corrugated stuff.
3) 1% Very rough forest road, washed out
water bars, some rocks and stuff. And in the future more beach driving.
Should i stay with HT tyres or look at AT tyres? and which have readers found best for their Xtrails?
Thanks in advance and you can email me at leeluu@au1.ibm.com if you have and advice!
Lee.

For what you want, HT's would be best with HTs... with so much Road work, they would last longer...
If your in
Melbourne, give Locky a call at ProComp Tires in Narre Warren.. He has some great deals going at the moment..
