I am surprised more vehicles don't burn.
When you campare the wiring methods and engineering decisions in cars compared building wiring, its shocking.

hi bantam
this article has brought back memories of my 1979 jeep cherokee v8 quadra-trak 4sp auto model which i bought brand new in
sydney
when i was installing some extra rear door speaker wiring and a 12v socket for a engel in the rear cabin i discovered bare 12 volt wiring bundled under the drivers
seat floor covering that i had to tape up as it would have eventually made contact with each other on a corregated rd and caused a fire and there was some more doggy joints in the rear lights area with jeep electricainside the panel so it seems after reading the thread that perhaps not a lot has changed ls ??
cheers
